VINTAGE TIME IS UPON
US
We are about to reap the fruits of a year’s hard work put into our
vineyards. Grapes, that will take us on an exciting journey towards
delicious wines, will soon be ready for the picking... vintage time is
upon us.

Vineyards
getting ready for vintage |
While final preparations are being made... pickers, collection crates,
tractor trailers, tanks and cisterns are on standby, waiting for the
grapes to ripen.
To celebrate this feast with our beloved friends, we as the “Talay
Winery” are now taking reservations for our “Vintage and Wine Tasting
Tours”, which this year are planned to take place on the following week-ends
in September and October:
September: 2-3-4 9-10-11 16-17-18 23-24-25 30 and October 1-2
As a matter of fact,
vintage is the result of a year’s hard work. There is work to be done on
vineyards all year long, all of which affect the success of that year’s
product... such as cleaning, pruning, and budding. We therefore,
throughout the year, are considering to also start an educational
program, which on the first and third week of each month takes those
interested through the preparation process.

For accommodation,
we have chosen the “Ataol Holiday Ranch”, two kilometers from the town
centre. This fine establishment, offers all the creature comforts one
would expect during the tasting, discussing, and enjoying an excellent
vintage.
